The Cloud

The cloud is used to describe the virtual storage systems. Cloud computing is a data that was once stored in privately owned computers. The data is stored on servers operated by someone else, which means that data is available to use anywhere there is internet connection. Even if your house is destroyed because of a natural disaster, when you go online, your files will be there, safe. Cloud can preserve files online as well as offline. This makes it a very valuable system. For most cloud systems, you will have the ability to access your files from any computer connected to the internet by using your personal password.

Although the clouds backup system is quite good, it does not mean that it cannot be hacked. Yes, the cloud is dangerous and can be hacked. So someone's precious data's been lost or laid bare before someone who shouldn't ever see it. The "bad guys" (hackers) have the ability to capture a lot of information. They can "infect clouds with spyware, botnets, and other malicious programs, said Reavis." However, people are finding ways to reduce those problems. Some have created backup plans, while others made their cloud harder to get.
However, not only can hackers view your cloud, but even the government can access things you put in the cloud. If the government finds a reason to investigate you, they can go straight to your cloud and view it without your permission of course.
Also if the cloud crashes, than all the information will be lost in thin air. Nobody will be able to restore and find it.
